Oh, what a scared monster! Ofcourse - mice is so big and dangerous animals, my mother meant too. If my brother or me found a mouse, we tried to get it over to my mother - she had a very funny scream! That weren't nice done, I know - but funny! (I'm sorry, mum!) - nice idea.
On first glance I thought the cat was the monster... Just goes to show that "monster" is anything we are afraid of.
I like the simple folk-art style.
